Wow, I can only imagine firing that piece using an extra long lanyard from behind deep cover! That is perhaps a 2 caliber tube (150mm)? No wonder they went to a reduced charge as this oiled gun is now a mortar. This illustrates once again that (desperate) necessity is the mother of invention.
