Most of the articles included in this list rolled off the presses (so to speak) in the past seven days. A few, however, may be older pieces that I discovered in the week that ends today.
The Ukrainian incursion west of Kursk convinces B.A. Friedman that Maneuver is so back
Over at Dead Carl and You, Kieren Pfitzner compares the aforementioned incursion to the German invasion of France and Belgium in 1914.
Robert Lyman sings a song, to the tune of ‘Would You Please Oblige Us with a Bren Gun’, about the remarkable role played by a corporal of the 1st Middlesex in the defense of the Pusan perimeter.
The Connecting File describes an intensive program to match would-be commanders with particular infantry companies of the 2nd Marine Division.1
Lest we forget the sine qua non just about everything, Tactical Permaculture provides a master class on ways to avoid the ‘agony of dee feet’, especially when water is in short supply.2
