At last count, the archive of The Tactical Notebook contained nearly six hundred and seventy-six articles. So that readers might be able to navigate this collection with greater ease, I have begun to reorganize the system of aggregators introduced earlier this year. In particular, I am removing the links to such pages from the area underneath the masthead and placing them on The Gateway.
In the course of doing this, I am checking links, reformatting illustrations, and turning subject-specific aggregators (such as Articles About Anti-Tank Units and Tactics) into pages that behave like ordinary posts. Thus, each time I complete the refurbishment of an aggregator, it will go out to subscribers in the same way as any other article.
So, if you find that the link you seek has disappeared from the line beneath of the masthead, dinna, as the Scots like to say, fash yersel. Rather than going the way of sateen utilities, starched covers, and boots that need shining, the missing page has merely found a new home at The Gateway.
