Thrift Books sells new copies of "The Dogma ..." for US $102, plus $12 for shipping to the UK (That's £ 96 or so, which is still high, but less than £ 135.)

At TBS, I was introduced to a phrase I've strived to follow ever since: "Doctrinally sound, not doctrinally bound." All too often, the concepts, doctrine, methods, etc. really do just become dogma. And when that happens....well, dumb things happen

And Outlaw heroes.

Sorry.

We certainly can see the Old Buddha now in the Forbidden City on the Potomac, in fact many such Buddhas, and Mandarins.

We need mavericks. Problem is, being a maverick tends to be detrimental to career advancement.

Hence Iconclasts and outlaws.

Yes, thank you I know about maverick.

BTW if you want to do your duty, reject career.

Anyone who threatens career is the best enemy agent ever, and be certain no threat to enemy.
