I wonder if the OHL attempted to track down the author after they started to change the organizations.

Speaking of;

Did the author mention any changes to engineers and medical units?

I assume that each division would have a company of each.

Certainly a more visually pleasing structure than the previous one.

Also, does it mention if the infantry and artillery brigades be retained, like they were during the wartime re-orgs?

And one slight issue, the cavalry brigade is displayed as an infantry division.

I suspect that the author of the article was Ernst von Wrisberg. However, I have no proof beyond his role in the triangularization of the "Third Series" of infantry divisions in March of 1915. https://tacticalnotebook.substack.com/p/german-infantry-divisions-iii

The article doesn't mention medical units. As for pioneer companies, the triangularization of army corps fit in nicely with the practice of mobilizing a three-company field battalion for each formation of that type. That is, each infantry division would get a company of pioneers.
