Interesting. If the purpose of the Ukrainian attacks is not apparent, there may be some occult purpose, or it may be that they are poorly managed and attacking haphazardly. Occam's razor suggests the latter. That is not good. The limiting factor for the Ukrainians is manpower, and using up troops to no discernible purpose would be the worst sort of military malpractice. I hope that the secret plan that causes the genius behind it all to become apparent one day ... actually exists.
There is no secret plan. The Ukes have been trained by NATO (and it seems pretty clear that the Uke war effort is planned and directed largely by NATO officers) and it is well proven that the western military edifice has been completely cleansed of anyone of any character or intelligence in the past 10 years.
Ukraine is where the absolute corruption and incompetence and rot of the west is laid bare for all the world to see.
Overstatement. If by the “western military edifice” you mean all western military officers, you are painting with too broad a brush. There are officers with competence and character in the United States military. The senior leader ship nonetheless leaves much to be desired. Nonetheless, on the main point, we agree. There is no secret plan. It’s as bad as it looks.
War is the last resort of politics, so if there's an objective that makes no military sense, it is possible that it is a political move. The desire to show progress to sponsors or to quiet fears of a stalemate, perhaps - with those fears being realized after it became impossible to sustain the tempo required. That, or the attack was required of the army by said sponsor.
There is a lot of speculation possible here, a bottomless can of worms, so I will say this - it could just be a bad attack, but I think politics has trumped the army here. I remember Zaluzhny once saying that he did not rate an offensive's chances very highly.
Zelensky is a stupid gay dancer who thinks he's a military leader, while the NATO generals running the show are also idiots. They seem to have forgotten two things, You don't fight Russians on their home ground, and Russia has never lost an actual ground war. Even now, Russia has not lost, as they can use overwhelming artillery from miles and miles away to great effect, while the idiots in Ukraine can only resort to drones and illegal chemical weapons attacks.
This is compounded by the fact that we Americans are spearheading this stupidity, obviously forgetting that we haven't won a war since WWII. We tied Korea, and we lost Vietnam. We only won the desert wars because our armored horses moved fast. When it came to holding that ground, we gave it up and let the enemy have it back.
I still can't figure out what NATO's strategy is, and it just doesn't make sense.
What are we fighting for? The rights for the fags to exist in a country that doesn't want them? To free people from oppressors, even though Zelensky is violating the basic tenants of freedom?

I waited weeks for the 'real' Ukrainian offensive to begin. But it looks like this is the real Ukrainian offensive.

Are we trying to instigate World War III?
