Unfortunately I'm looking for 5th Kentucky Cavalry Volunteers. I only get one hit for that and it's in Rhode Island. Likely someone's diary or letters.
Currently looking for finding aids on Regimental histories for Union Cavalry units in the American Civil War.
I've got no special expertise in that realm. That said, a quick search confirms my suspicion that Hathi is a good place to start.
