YES. If music was our metaphor then our music of war must be Jazz!

Agreed. The horrific discordant clatter and the overwhelming impulsion to escape - just like jazz.

Yes but under all jazz is the theme. Also to move away from metaphor - it is very difficult to move or use radio undetected.

Unless there’s so much noise you can’t make out the underlying theme.

Music was invented for war.

Not other way round.
