What to do when they are removed
A few moments ago, I removed a pair of comments. In both cases, the reason had nothing to do with the opinions stated, and everything to do with the words employed to express them. (In one instance, the problem lay in the realm of vulgarity. In the other, I could not decipher the comment in question without the aid of the Urban Dictionary.)
So, Gentle Reader, if you find that I have removed one of your comments, I recommend that you consult our policy on comments (as explained in the post called Our Policy on Comments), recast your thoughts in language appropriate to this venue, and post them anew.

Incivility is everywhere these days. I recently left a forum where I'd been a paid subscriber for over a decade due to the arrival of a number of rude and aggressive commenter.
