If you are new to The Tactical Notebook, please allow me to extend a hearty welcome. If you have been with us for a while, I hope that you are enjoying the thousand-odd articles that have already been published by this little newsletter. (You can find them by selecting the ‘magnifying glass’ icon to the right of the masthead, by searching in our archive, or by using our own finding aid, which we call The Gateway.)
