Battalion: An Organizational Study of United States Infantry

Since its revival in the fall of 2022, The Tactical Notebook has been publishing portions of Battalion: An Organizational Study of United States Infantry. Written by the late John Sayen, one of the founders of the original (ink-and-paper) Tactical Notebook, Battalion includes a collection of three hundred or so organizational diagrams, each of which describes the ideal structure of a company, battalion, or regiment of American infantry during a particular part of the twentieth century.
