The 1920s, IMPO are the decade we should never have let slip into the back of our brain housing groups. LIkely we all did, as a human species, because of the horrible carnage, and massive moral injury that reshaped expectations and maybe even, epigenetics. WWI and the decade that followed shaped the entirety of the 20th century, much, as I suspect, this decade is setting the themes for the 21st.
For a short while in the 1920s there were hopes for a better world right alongside the crumbling foundations of the last of the 19th century. I see the same patterns today in our century.
