A letter from the Front
As the name implies, the La Femme Chic dealt mostly with fashion. However, during the First World War, each monthly issue of that magazine included a column written, under the nom de plume of ‘Minnie’, by the wife of a soldier serving at the front.
In the installment of her column that rolled off the press in December of 1915, Minnie described a letter she had recently received from her husband.
