Civilians controlling the military: The part about the disconnect between The White House “Vision” and the NDS National Defense Strategy is particularly revealing.
The Chain of Command is Constitutional. This means SecWar to President. If it means every single Civilian in the DOD now DOW - that’s 700,000 civilians- then we have an unworkable situation.
We cannot have a civilian control of the military that has 700,000 bosses, all named Karen which adds to the Confusion. However this seems to be too difficult for the military mind to grasp, so I humbly propose the following simplification; There shall be Three, (3) Civilians in the Military Chain of Command;
1) The President
2) The SecWar
3) Your Mom.
Point 3 is perfectly contemporary and in synch with our culture and indeed current White House Press Office military policy concerning below the shipping away of USA Tomahawk missiles, as to who suggested the policy
“Your Mom.”
This absolutely passes DOW SECWAR’s E6 test, and indeed has approval of the Highest Possible Civilian Authority.
