On the subject of Ukraine; until January 20th , 2025, 1201 ET Ukraine was a preferred partner over the US military, for that matter Americans. Certain managed decline parties made sure Drones for US Military stopped for about 15 years, were not fielded in any appreciable numbers and we were stuck with the Raven (and the FAA BTW) until Hegseth.
Of course Ukraine is can buy DJI and do all sorts of things we still can’t, Ukraine was a preferred partner over… Americans… and certainly not subject to any regulation at all, in particular about money.
The reason we’re not thankful to Ukraine isn’t just that we’re paying for this mess we don’t want…
It’s that the party in power isn’t paid off by Ukraine, or rather our own money laundered with Ukrainian blood … back to the party out of power.
The party in power prefers Americans.
The Americans who voted in the present administration are very skeptical of the Beltway establishment still quite infatuated with Ukraine… and no doubt saturated with the $ washing back up the Potomac.
Frankly it’s foolish to draw attention to the matter anymore.
The President in power and his Flag Firing Secretary of War take a rather dim view of the entire matter.
As do I, obviously.
