Milstack Saturday showcases the best articles on military subjects that I read, the best podcasts that I listened to, and the best videos that I watched in the past week.
The past week found me spending so much time on the road that Willie Nelson is suing me for copyright infringement. Thus, rather than doing as much reading as I would like, I listened to the audio tracks of a large number of videos.

I continue to listen to the many interviews in which David Betz predicts a civil war (of sorts) in the United Kingdom. In the most recent of these, Professor Betz adds France to the list of countries that, in his view, may soon meet a similar fate. (For a contrary view, see this video from the Academic Agent, starting at the fourteen minute point.)
In Madyar Birds, The Military Show chronicles recent engagements between Russian fiber-optic guided drones and Ukrainian robot interceptors. (Readers sensitive to cartoonish hyperbole will want to exercise caution while watching this video.)
In The Daily Mail’s Bakhmut Video Gets Much Worse, History Legends subjects a slickly produced mini-documentary to well-deserved ridicule.
Mark Felton describes the oft-forgotten work of Clearing Up World War II Battlefields and, in doing so, celebrates of oft-neglected service companies of American infantry regiments.
Indy Neidell and Spartacus Olsson bemoan, with considerable justice, the damage done by videos generated by artificial intelligence programs. Sadly, they weaken their otherwise convincing case by playing the ‘indie content creators spread misinformation’ card so often deployed by well-heeled media mongers. (And, yes, I meant to make that pun.)
‘Please, Sir, may I have more?’
