I would like to honor, in the most public way I know, the good men who, over the past fifteen years or so, have been making, and making available, digital copies of documents maintained on microfilm by the US National Archives. In doing this, they have greatly reduced the expenditure of time, toil, trouble, and treasure required to conduct primary source research into the military history of the first half of the last century.
So, here’s to you:
Well done!
