I have DA Pam 20-243, German Anti-Guerrilla Operations in the Balkans 1941-1945 - its an interesting book. I know that the DA Pam series too some flak from critics because they were compiled from interviews with German Officers that some felt were pandering to Americans in order to mitigate past sins. Personally, as an apolitical soldier, any experience gleaned from others should be part of our library. My Favorite of the series is Small Unit Actions During the German Campaign in Russia - that is an outstanding, and I cant say that enough, - outstanding look at tactics, techniques and innovations by small units - Bn and Co. If you have the book or can get it, check out Chapt 2, story II, The Armored Roadblock. The tenacity and cleverness of Russian Armor Crewman was really good. here is a link from the internet archive to the Pam https://archive.org/details/PAM20-269
