The records of the German Army High Command (Oberkommando des Heeres) contain, among many other treasures, a collection of organizational diagrams depicting units and formations fielded by their enemies. One of these lays out the structure and armament of a kan. Fallschirm-Jg. Btl, which I take to mean kanadisches Fallschirm-Jäger Battalion (‘Canadian Parachute Rifle Battalion’), in May of 1944.
